My dream of being a Hair Stylist stated at age 9. After I obtained my license in 1959, I envisioned having my own shop. Marriage & raising a family of four put a slight delay in that dream until 1986 when I became the proud owner of New Wave where I have been very fortunate to have accumulated a fantastically talented and loyal staff. I truly believe in “making people feel good about themselves” by visiting my salon.

I have been with New Wave from the beginning in 1986. It has been a pleasure and honor to work with such a wonderful group of people. We are family and I truly enjoy going to work. I love helping people look and feel good about themselves, that’s why we continue educating ourselves, to be one of the top salons in the area.

I have been a stylist at New Wave since 1987. All the girls at New Wave have worked together for 20+ years so to say we are a family is an understatement. I have loved this career for 40 years and feel blessed to work at one of the best salons in Broome County.

I have been a stylist at New Wave since 1999. I have the pleasure of working with 4 other very talented stylists for 20 plus years. I pride myself on continuing to expand my skills through online education and learning many new techniques in Cutting, Coloring and Styling. I consider myself an artist and like to express my creativity through my work.

I have been a stylist at New Wave for 20 + years. I enjoy working with the other stylists in a positive, supportive setting and keep current with styling methods and design through continuing education.

RECEPTIONIST

I've worked with this group of talented stylists for over 10 years. Their positive, 'can-do' attitude makes the experience fun and satisfying. They are a great team, supporting one another and always keeping the clients' needs and wishes the first priority.
